It shall be the duty of the traffic committee to consider public suggestions having to do with traffic matters and recommend to the legislative body of this city and to the city traffic engineer, the chief of police, and other city officials ways and means of improving traffic conditions and the administration and enforcement of traffic regulations. A report of all actions considered by the committee shall be submitted to the council. (Prior code § 3201.4)
