The public works director or their designee(s) shall exercise the powers and duties as provided in Section 10.08.020 and in the traffic regulations of this city. Whenever the public works director or their designee(s) is required or authorized to place or maintain official traffic-control devices or signals, he or she may cause such devices or signals to be placed or maintained.
