Upon adoption of a resolution by the council designating an area of the city as a preferential parking permit area, the director of public works or their designee(s) shall cause appropriate signs to be erected along the streets identified in the resolution which shall give notice of the limitation on the parking of vehicles in the area as provided in Section 10.36.170, and shall indicate the hours and days when such limitations shall be in effect.
