No person shall deposit or cause to be deposited in any parking meter or parking payment center any defaced or bent coin, or any slug, device or metallic substitute for a coin of the United States, or deface, injure, tamper with, open or willfully break, destroy or impair the usefulness of any parking meter or parking payment center.
