The community development director or designee is authorized to approve parcel maps. The director shall not deny approval of a parcel map if there is a previously approved tentative map for the proposed subdivision and if the director finds that the parcel map is in compliance with the requirements of the Subdivision Map Act, this title, and the approved tentative map.
