Employees are insured by the city, under the State Worker’s Compensation Act, against injury occurring in the course of employment. Department heads shall be required to obtain a report of any injury sustained by an employee on duty and shall forward such reports to the personnel director for review and to the city’s compensation insurance administrator for adjustment and investigation.
