Any line-item employee shall receive normal salary and fringe benefits during the first thirty days of any period of temporary military leave. Such compensation shall not exceed thirty calendar days in any one fiscal year. Any temporary military leave in excess of thirty days in one fiscal year shall be taken as vacation leave or leave of absence without pay. (Prior code § 2708.10)
